East Alabama Humane Society
One of the programs that Summerville Animal Hospital works with often is the East Alabama Humane Society in Phenix City.
EAHS is a non-profit animal rescue society with a mission to promote and enable the saving of the lives of as many unwanted dogs as possible.
EAHS is the only no-kill shelter facility within Russell County, Alabama. The team at EAHS strives to rescue dogs that would otherwise be euthanized.
Among its activities are a volunteer program, and a foster-pet program.
